What does it mean to memorialize? or, what is memorialization?

Memorialization is the act of honoring and preserving the memory of a deceased person, significant event, or group through physical, digital, or ceremonial means.

Pay attention to the underlined phrase, "preserving the memory". So to memorialize is to preserve memory—the memory of a dead person, or the memory of a significant event, or the memory of a group of persons. Now, we're talking about memorializing your ministry! What does that mean? It means to preserve the work you're doing for the Lord right now, such that, if you die at anytime, that work lives on: the work doesn't fade off due to your passing; your teachings continue to be accessible to men and bless lives, even after you're gone! This is what I'm talking about; this is what the Spirit is saying to us at this time.

The teachings of Christ and the Apostles are accessible to men even till this day, and continue to bless lives, because their teachings were memorialized (preserved). Think about it.

Therefore, Believer or Man of God reading this article right now, I say to you by the word of the Holy Spirit, set up structures around your ministry (your teachings) that makes it continually accessible to men even after you are gone! Steps you can take:

  1. Begin to record your Bible Study meetings: Record your teachings
  2. Get a social media account, and start uploading your teachings there
  3. Write books and publish them. [Transfer those knowledge into books]
  4. Write eBooks and publish them to free blogging/publishing platforms that men popularly know and use [Transfer those knowledge into eBooks]

I believe these steps will work, and any other step which you might want to apply to memorialize your ministry (your teachings).

Memorializing your teachings keeps your service to the Lord on and going even after you are gone! You continue to be relevant to the Lord Jesus even in death! Oo glory to God!!!!!!! Even in death! Phew!!!! I think about the Apostles and I'm waowed!! See how long they continue to be relevant to the Lord Jesus! They are long gone from the earth, but their teachings continue to birth Salvation in men and build up men in the knowledge of Christ—because their teachings were memorialized (preserved). Do likewise and join the league of Believers who continue to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and inspire men towards Christ even in death! Hallelujah!!!!
